Lucid is an iOS app for people on a night out. It estimates blood alcohol content in real time from the drinks you log, using the Widmark formula, and adds a time-locked 'Vault' for messages you may regret, a one-tap ride button, hydration reminders, drink-spend tracking and party games.
All data stays on the device, and it needs iOS 17 or later. The listing says the estimates are informational and not for deciding whether you are fit to drive.
What it does
- BAC estimate from logged drinks (Widmark formula) with a countdown to sobriety
- The Vault: notes time-locked for 12 hours, so they can be reviewed sober
- One tap opens Uber or Lyft with the destination preloaded
- Party games and local Wi-Fi multiplayer rounds
- Optional app blocking above a chosen BAC threshold
